URO’s Peer Mentorship Program is a grassroots effort dedicated to improving undergraduate knowledge about research and how to get involved in research at UBC. The program matches undergraduate and graduate students possessing significant research experience with undergraduates interested in learning more and getting started in research.
Beginning with a basic application process, the relationship is determined by the individual mentor/mentee matches. URO envisions this program opening the door to casual conversations about research that may lead to mentor/mentee friendships as well as working relationships. Through our Peer Mentorship Program, URO hopes to expand undergraduate involvement in the research process at UBC.
