A Research Journey
This series of monthly, sequenced workshops aims to give undergraduates students an overview of the undergraduate research experience. The workshops are presented by students in their senior years, with competent experience in undergraduate research, and guest lecturers (usually high profile professors) with years and years of mentoring undergraduate research. With topics as basic as finding your strengths and your areas of interest, how to find a supervisor, and as complex as overcoming stage panic and effectively presenting your research, this workshop series is a wonderful resource for students who have no previous experience in research and who would like to learn how to become engaged.
All workshops are free and open to students of any discipline and any year.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO REGISTER BY EMAILING uro.workshops@gmail.com. Provide your name, student number, faculty, and year. Thank you!
